Process Engineer for mechanical operations
Work on equipment for mechanical processes on semiconductors, like
1. thinning of wafers by grinding,
2. dicing wafers by sawing or scribing and cleaving
3. manipulate semiconductor chips, e.g. picking, stacking, placing
Work will be done in a class 5 cleanroom.
Main duties:
- Start-up and maintain the respective tools, ensure appropriate service
- Develop and optimize the processes for production purposes
- Identify and implement test and qualification procedures
- Maintain records of tool and process parameters
- Instruct other engineers, technicians and operators
- Cooperate with other engineers regarding adjacent process steps
- Support on working instructions
Education:
University education in Material Science, Electrical engineering, Physics or Chemistry
Requirements:
- Experience with semi-conductor processing tools
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Systematic and detail-oriented working
- Effective oral and written communication skills
